“The church is not a static thing, it’s not a building which, when the final tile is in place, is complete. It’s an ever growing, ever changing and developing thing. It is beautiful, diverse and a ‘work in progress’!
Churches had to adapt so quickly during the pandemic, filming and zooming, finding new ways to support their congregations, reaching further afield, via the internet, than they would ever expected possible. The congregations became global as new people in other countries found YouTube links that meant that they could worship with a small village church in Hampshire or a large, city church in Manchester.
Is it perfect? No, as it is made up of imperfect people. Is it beautiful? Yes! It is part of God’s great plan that we would grow, become united in Christ and become more like Him.
