“This piece was created by pouring cups of acrylic paint onto the ‘deep waters’ pre-painted background. I was so excited to get into the studio the next day and see how the gold paint (which I have used to represent God at work) swirled and hovered over the deep. Working in a more abstract way is certainly not an ‘easy option’. I have wasted many expensive canvases as I try to get one that perfectly captures what I would like to say. This one gave me goose-bumps as I saw it develop!” Lynne Pugh
