“I painted this when I felt that storm clouds were surrounding me on every side. There were moments of joy and beauty, but a lot of sadness and heaviness. The picture is a response to the scripture in Isaiah 56 : 9, ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’ When life gets tough, it is good to recognise that God has a bigger picture and a bigger plan.“  Sue Newham

The painting is oil on canvas, with gold detail. It is unframed but painted around the edges so that it can be hung without a frame.  The canvas size is 40cm by 50cm.
