“Many years ago I was going through a very difficult period of bringing long-standing inner wounds to God for healing. I was experiencing deep sorrow, but was encouraged by the fact that Jesus died on the cross and rose again to bring us healing in every part of our being. Isaiah says, “By his wounds we are healed”. He knew what I felt like and was tenderly cradling me in his hands. At the time, I did a pencil drawing of a crying girl in a teardrop. This painting is adapted from that old drawing. The bubbles in the background represent the sorrows of all mankind.”  Jean Mintoft

The painting is oil on stretched canvas measuring 40cm square. It is unframed. The painting will be sent out from the artist in the UK.
