This exciting international project is now well underway, with artists selected and about to start work, using the vision idea of another artist as a starting point. With artists from across the world producing a new piece of artwork linked with the Run with the Fire theme, this will truly be an innovative and exciting digital exhibition.
In the coming months, churches will be expressing an interest in staging a community arts event linked with the 2012 London Olympics, using the digital exhibition as a focal point. If your church wishes to get involved, please e-mail Jonathan Evens on 020 8599 2170 There will be a £50 charge to cover materials and support.
Any profit from the project will be donated to Oxfam. Artists are donating the use of their image free to participating churches as part of the digital exhibition.
