New beginning by James Martin
The verse on the back of the New Beginning greetings card reads, “See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.” Isaiah 65: 17-18
Burning bush by Mark Wiggin
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Exodus 3 : 5
Mark Wiggin says, “I was gripped by the account of Moses coming face to face with God in the burning bush which is told in Exodus 3 and that was the inspiration for this painting.”
Pentecost by Mark Wiggin
The verse on the back of the card reads, ” We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.” 1 John 4 : 13
Mark says, ” I was inspired by the verses in Acts 2, which describe the day of Pentecost: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
Hidden truth by Oliver Pengilley
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29 : 13
Peace by Inspira
Both cards and prints carry the title and the verse under the image.
PEACE Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. John 14 : 27
Mounted prints and framed prints have black mount board to complement the black surround.
Refuge by John Reilly
Deuteronomy Chap 33: 27
The eternal God is thy refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee.
This verse appears on the back of the greetings card.
Romans Chap 8: 35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Matthew Chap 24: 6,7. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled….. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famine, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Matthew Chap 11: 28. Come unto me , all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Footprints by Margaret Fishback Powers. My precious, precious child. I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you.
Rising Up by James Martin
‘Those whose hope is in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles …’ (Isaiah 40, 31).
I love to paint big cloudscapes with their drama of huge space, light and shadow. Soaring like eagles in God’s warmth and light is what this is about.
Pour over me by Sue Newham
This reflects my desire to stand and soak in the living waters of God.
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, “I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.” Psalm 63 : 1
The waterfall image is one that has become very personal, capturing the cry of my heart, “Lord, I want more of your love, power and presence in my life!” This is the fifth painting of the same title and I am sure that I will paint more.
