Making all things new by Lynne Pugh
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, “Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation;the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5 : 17
“What sort of change are you longing to see God bring in your life? We all know what it is like to go through ‘grey’ times whether its in our spiritual life or maybe struggling with work, health or relationships. This is a picture of hope, promise and renewal. The old has gone , the new has come.” Lynne Pugh
Storm by James Martin
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41 : 10
Pentecost by Mark Wiggin
The verse on the back of the card reads, ” We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.” 1 John 4 : 13
Mark says, ” I was inspired by the verses in Acts 2, which describe the day of Pentecost: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
To everything there is a season by Joanna Ray
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men” Ecclesisates 3 : 11
“The separate but integrated shapes of the beautiful nautilus shell’s interior and the different moods of the colours reminded me of the different seasons and experiences of our lives. Put together as a whole, even the dark or ‘muddy’ colours are necessary to the final picture as the verse suggests.” Joanna Ray
The greatest by Alison Powell
This card has verses about love from 1 Corinthians 13 verses 4-8 and verse 13 forming the design on the front.
Rising Up by James Martin
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, ‘Those whose hope is in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles …’ (Isaiah 40, 31).

I love to paint big cloudscapes with their drama of huge space, light and shadow. Soaring like eagles in God’s warmth and light is what this is about.
Resurrection morning by James Martin
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, “He is not here; he has risen!” Luke 24 : 6
“Conveying the emotion and amazement of Mary Magdalene as she meets the risen Lord outside the tomb, the stark reality of the empty tomb and graveclothes, just as described in Johns’s gospel, chapter 20.” James Martin

This image and its particular viewpoint had been in my mind for many years before I tried creating it as a painting.
