I like the symbolism used in Jesus’ parables in the Gospels, especially this story of a man recognising the value of what he finds.
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, "..he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.." Matthew 13 : 46
In this case, a mystery, a secret, something hidden, something found, something discovered! And the fact that the merchant surrendered all for this one pearl.
