Saviour Redeemer by Paul Robertson
Throughout history, God has intervened to rescue and provide hope for His people. This layered picture builds up the story.
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, "I, the Lord, am your Saviour, your Redeemer, the mighty one of Jacob." Isaiah 60 : 16
At the bottom of the picture is a shape resembling Canary Wharf labelled Mammon. It has two crystal balls by it, showing that, for some people, money has been a god. The next layer marks opposition to the gospel, with unrelated jigsaw pieces floating against a threatening background. The over-arching rainbow, made with perfectly interlocking jigsaw pieces, shows God's rescue plan, leading to a time "When peace shall over all the earth its ancient splendours fling, and the whole earth give back the song that now the angels sing."
