Symbolically, two sculptures were formed from the same block of clay. The first; a bride and groom called, “The Dance”; and the second, a baby in a hand from the clay filling the empty spaces and insides of the first. After seven years of marriage we were told it would be very unlikely for us have a child. This little embryo of a child cradled in a hand became a visual prayer request for the child that I desired but did not have. As I struggled to let go of my desire to be a mother, I sensed God was telling me to rest like a little baby in His hand. When against all odds we did have a child, it seemed just like when God blew the breath of LIFE into Adam when He formed him out of the clay. Our awesome Creator is truly The LORD of Life!

This sculpture has been seen by thousands of people in churches in the USA and France as part of a visual testimony during worship services.
