Veritasse provides good opportunities for networking through the web site and newsletters but perhaps there is a need for Artisans to meet occasionally. I understand that Veritasse doesn’t have the resources to make this happen but I would be willing to put some time to it should there be sufficient interest.

If anyone lives in the London area, you may be interested in attending a prayer meeting for creatives, to mobilise prayer for the media, creative arts, music, theatre, design etc. From May 7th 2008 - July 16th 2008, at Commonwealth Church at St Marks, Mayfair, London. More information can be obtained on www.prayerforthenations.com under ‘events’. The Prayer Garden is also worth a visit, very restful & peaceful..

I recently saw some new artwork that was “humourous”. The picture was a photo of a “Christian” - that is sandles and socks, untrendy cardigan, glasses and beard playing guitar with scary smile. The quote underneath was “Witnessing for the Lord.” It was funny, the smile really did make the person a “Jesus freak”. Obviously the artist was poking fun at Christians, but is clearly for a Christian market as it was addressing some of the bad stereotypes in the Christian community. The artist was a Christian.
