Photographer seeks advice on prints
Posted by Admin on behalf of Emma
I was wondering about how I’d go about selling my prints. I have worked in film recently, printing my own 10×8″ prints, but that requires a darkroom which I no longer have access to, so I would have to have them commercially printed, along with the newer digital images. Could you recommend a company, possibly online, that others in Veritasse use, or point me in the direction of someone who’d know? I was thinking of offering options on unframed or framed prints and greetings cards/postcards to keep costs to a minimum. What do you think?

Hi I download my photo images to a professional Photo site. The best I have found is www. Truprint.co.uk The site is VERY easy to download on and the order prints. The quality is Fuji range.I have rarely had a duff print. The firm bend over backwards to get quality correct etc. The cheaper sites tend to be very frustrating if you want to order a lot and site can be too complicated. Pixmania only do gloss print. If you want a chat etc call me. I have details of card printing on http://www.digitalprintdesign.co.uk/fine-art-cards.html
Hope this helps. God Bless

Thanks Shoshona - that’s great!
I’m pretty sure I already have a Truprint account, or I’ll open one soon! I had assumed the quality would just be bog-standard ’snapshots’ so I went looking and found some fine art printers online who print from both originals and from both negatives and digital. It will be interesting to compare prices!
I’ve got various printing media ideas in the pipeline!
Will contact you asap re; greetings cards.
