I am 19 and a Christian. I have always created art, although I have never received any training. I explore new ways of working every day and hopefully will become more and more adventurous! As soon as I started to know Christ, I began to paint and draw pictures that portrayed the stages of my journey with Him.
I tend to think in pictures, and when I read my Bible or am at church, I will often hear or read something that forms an image in my mind which will inspire a painting. I like to keep my paintings gritty, realistic and raw, because that’s how I see things.

This drawing was inspired by my week at New Wine when I became a Christian. I could see people coming to Christ all around me and not only did I sense their fulfilment, even stronger was the happiness and joy of Jesus.
The verse on the back of the greetings card reads, "We love him, because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19
More Details
With this drawing, it was important that the embrace be as intimate and as real as that of a father and child. I have chosen “John 4:19: We love him, because he first loved us” Many of my friends and church family have been blessed by this drawing and they say that is holds a very powerful message that they have been needing to hear.
